Hungarian melodic black metal, with a gloomy atmosphere yet so enchanting melodies, with amazing guitar work. The artist(s) define the band as minimalistic but the mastering and production leave nothing behind, making this album sounding just perfectly arranged. The cover art and the band logo are killer too !!

It's weird, I spent a lot of time with "Devour the Sun", but for some reason, each album after, much less time was spent. Now at the end of 2023 I've been really sinking into Vvilderness' albums. They're each equally incredible works of art. At first listen, maybe one or two songs might grab me, but then after giving the full album a listen a handful of times, it gets harder to pick a favorite.
